SPED Homeschool Review Crew Feedback

What was the one thing that most impressed you about this curriculum?

This material is very adaptable to a wide variety of student levels, abilities and interests. For lower elementary academic levels, there are a variety of ways to engage students whether through the reading or the activities included in the book and workbook. For more advanced readers or middle elementary, the literature package would be a great addition.

What was the one thing that parents of children with learning needs should be aware of when looking into this program?

This history curriculum isn’t written specifically for special needs so parents may need to read and plan ahead for each lesson for their student. There are hands-on ideas and activities that you may need to prepare before presenting the lesson so as to not lose the interest of your student. The additional activities are great for students who are visual, tactile, or kinesthetic learners. The Atlas Workbook contains additional fine motor work. The Lesson Review workbook can be modified using speech to text, scribe or other accommodations.
