“Life is messy, parenting is messy, and homeschooling is messy. We don’t expect to get everything right on the first day of any other job, and we can’t expect to get everything right on the first try in homeschooling either.”

Tracy Glockle – Past Team Member

Tracy is a pastor’s wife, freelance writer/editor, homeschool and curriculum consultant, and momma to three creative, high energy kiddos. Her life is creative chaos, and her homeschool is loud, busy, distracted, challenging, and lovely.

As a homeschooled homeschooler, Tracy has spent nearly her whole life in the homeschooling community. It’s a journey she has loved, yet one that has been challenging as well. Homeschooling her own children who struggle with ADHD, dyslexia, learning anxieties, and sensory issues has helped her connect with others on the same journey, facing those same challenges. Tracy shares the ups and downs of her homeschool journey and ideas for learning solutions on her blog at Growing in Grace.

Tracy has also had over 10 years of experience writing, editing, developing, and reviewing curriculum. She puts that experience to use in helping homeschooling families find curriculum solutions and make modifications to that curriculum for their children’s individuals learning needs. Tracy also coaches families who are homeschooling students with dyslexia and other learning challenges online as well as through her local homeschool charter school.

Tracy is available for speaking on a number of topics related to homeschooling ADHD, dyslexia, and learning anxieties; teaching busy or reluctant learners; applying a strengths-based approach to learning challenges; as well as finding hope in hard homeschool moments.
